My mood had been oscillating like a pendulum. And it really doesn't feel nice. For me, and the people around me. I'm feeling tired too often. I lack motivation. I miss the enthusiastic me. The smile is wearing off too quickly. The soul is playing hide and seek. The eyes look dull.
Met a lecturer on the way to the clinic. He ask what happened to me, and I say I'm tired. He says that I look 'uninterested', from the way I walk and it seems like something is bothering me and that I'm not tired. He can be some fortune teller la!! Had a chat with him, he say might be menses or a transition period from second to third year. I can feel the tears fighting to come out for a split second, but managed to hold it back. He say I'll be fine, Chinese are strong. Felt better after. Thanks.
I'm going to be strong. I've won all the battles that I've fought with great help from my soldiers. No exception this time. I have to.
2 first time today.
First Yoga lesson with Kristie today. Not too bad. but the yoga mat really stinks la. I can imagine the amount of bacteria growing in there. I felt good after the session, not sure if it's due to the yoga, but I felt better, relaxed.
First clinic experience today at the front desk. I think I look smart in the uniform. hahaha. Checked the room, get the forms ready, and answered some calls. A patient called to change his time tomorrow, and I said shit while he's on the phone. oh nooo. hahaha.
A funny conversation between 2 of my classmates.
We were chatting while waiting for the lecturer to come (and the lecturer did not turn up in the end, so we had a 1 hr break), the this Ang Moh classmate came over.
Us: some random things
Ang Moh: Chee bye, Lan Jiao Tao(Right in the face of the Indian friend)
Indian: *stare at him with eyes wide and mouth open* 5 sec later, who taught you that?
AM: Point at us
Indian: You have the accent when you say it
AM: Then how should I say it, CB LJT
Indian: no, you sound like you're saying it on purpose, be more casual
AM: CB, LJT
Indian: I don't say FUCKK (trying to emplasize that it's not natural)
and the conversation went on for a few more minutes.
It's hilarious, they were discussing it like they're discussing school work.
Went to this Italian restaurant that my friend highly recommend on saturday. Not too bad, but I wouldn't say that it's fantastic.
The desserts. They did not have the orange almond cake that day. =( I want to try.
Then supposed to go over to Julia house for some drinking session. But we end up playing truth, dare and double dare. Lots of crazy videos taken, and lots of gossips.
Had a wonderful time.
Spent the night at Krisite's place and went for dim sum the next morning with da jie.
I feel like I've alot more to write...
Love
Jia Pei
