The start of a one week break. It's actually just a non-teaching week, so I'd think they expect you to do some reading on your own. 4 weeks after school reopen will be the big big BIG exam.

Guess what fruit this is? They're fresh red dates. HMM. red dates are fruits right? should be. Isn't it just cool. They got these from a farm. The don't really taste like red dates, it's sweet with a hint of sour, and the texture is very similar to a crispy apple.

Longans. They're from one of uncle's friend. It's sweet and juicy. YUM YUM!!

Presenting our own longan tree. It's still pretty small, so there's not much harvest and the fruits aren't as sweet and juicy as compared to the ones before

Small guave. They belong to the neighbour, but they grew over the fence, and we're given the permission to help ourselve. Have yet to try it though, after so many years. They're about the size of a huge lime, unlike those big ones we get in Singapore.

Grape vine. There're 2 in the hourse. This one in the picture, and another bigger one right outside my window. The fruits are sweet and juicy. But you get rats and bird eating them, so there's one year when uncle didn't wrap the fruits up resulting in not much fruits for human consumption.

We've got an orange and madarine orange tree as well. But they saw away the top part, so we'd have to wait another few years before there's fruits again. The 1st year I came, before they saw it, we're got lots and lots of oranges.
Was told by my cousin that the orange in the above picture has been in the fridge before I came back here which is in febuary, and on the day we ate it, is dec. Which means we've kept it for about 2 MONTH!!!

BUT IT'S STILL JUICY!! Amazing thing isn't it? It's either the orange is really that good or we're mixed up the date, there's way too many fruits in the fridge to remember when each and every fruit was bought.

This is the mango tree with quality but not quantity. I SO LOVE MANGOES!!!!!!!

Cheers
