Big walk - May 22 2005 sunday

Woked up at 430 a.m to the noise of my alarm clock beating monotonely . I made much effort to reach out for the damn clock to switch its alarm off before snuggling back into my bed again.. Suddenly , a tot jolted pass my mind, i was supposed to get up to wake Km up now, and it was then i remembered we were supposed to go for a big walk at the kallang stadium tis fine morning.

The cool morning dew was refreshing and the light ambience created by over hanging road lamps showered me with a feeling of nostalgia.I proceeded to meet up with the rest of the ppl under my block, my dad came as soon as the most of us assembled .. with every one boarded onto the lorry , we were on our way to the the national stadium.. But tht was after we picked up Jun ru and gayness from under their blocks.

We raced against time in the vast roads where few vehicles pass ... i killed time by enjoying quick passing scenary.. the peeps at the back were bombarded by winds at top velocity... here is a pic on how they look, with compliments to Km... who took the picture..

We finally reached the stadium juz in time ... After the search for the person who is incharged of organizing our group.. we changed into our Group tee- shirts they had provided for us... A pic of us in the group tee before we set off for the walk..

It was a long ang gruelling ten kilometres of walk... Alot of us took the shorter way back... it was not a very plesant experience to be walking under the blazing sun with like.. a few thousands other ppl? lol.

We finally finished the walk after pain staking mins ... AFter rounding every one up... we headed for macdonalds to meet up with the person in charge to collect our money.. We were damned thirsty by the time we reached macdonald and as soon as the few of us put down our bags.. we headed for the counter to get ourself some desperately needed hydration.. We were queing halveway wen gayness announced tht we are supposed to go collect our pay for the day's work.. So one by one.. we went to take the money.. After finishing the food we ordered. every one began to make a move ler, but its not after we tooked a final group pic to wrap up the day.. Cheese every one , =D
